Galway Swimming Club is delighted to announce that Brendan Breathnach will be joining as Head Coach of the Club.
Brendan has excellent knowledge and huge experience of the sport, whilst his energy, immense passion for swimming and desire to ensure swimmers at all levels achieve their highest potential in a fun environment will make Brendan a fantastic addition to the Club!!
As a competitive swimmer, Brendan has been involved in the sport since an early age. He has previously been a Youth and Senior Coach at GSC, and has taken roles as Lead Coach in Ballinasloe SC, and more recently as Head Coach at the University of Galway Swim Team where he made transformative changes to the swim programme.
We are really excited to have Brendan on board and can’t wait to get him poolside! He will no doubt meet as many Swimmers/Members as possible over the coming weeks to say “Hello”.
