Longford Swimming Club will be holding an Invitational Gala on Saturday 25th/Sunday 26th October 2025
Venue: Coral Leisure Center, Templemichael, Abbeycartron, Longford, N39 KP30.

Eligibility: Swimmers registered with Connacht are eligible to enter this gala. All swimmers must be competing in the competition to enter a relay.

Advice from Head Coach Brendan re Early Season Goals for Swimmers:
This is the perfect time in the season to broaden your swimming repertoire. Don’t limit yourself to just your core strokes and preferred distances—step outside your comfort zone and explore new events. Every swim is a chance to grow, learn, and discover hidden strengths.
Aim to get times registered across as many strokes and distances as possible. The more variety you swim now, the more options you’ll have later in the season—and the more confident and versatile you’ll become as an athlete.
