    • Refine their swimming technique
    • Develop speed , power and endurance
    • Learning to Train
    • Endurance and Intensities increase with race specific skills and mental preparation
    • Regional & National meets

    Age 13 to 15

    • Must be able to compete in all strokes in 200s 400IM
    • With target times for 400 Freestyle (or moving towards) 4.40min for Boys & 5.00min for Girls
    • Refining Stroke Mechanics
    • Dryland training and mental preparation
    • Regional & National Meets

  • Senior

    Age 13 to 18

    +

    • Swimmers may start to specialise in specific strokes or distance events
    • Have achieved times for 400 free or are moving towards preferred time to be able to cope with training load
    • Focus on refining stroke and race strategies
    • Dryland training
    • Recovery and nutrition
    • Regional National and International meets
