- Ensures GOOD GOVERNANCE and the efficient running of the club
- Ensures the club complies with all LEGAL RESPONSIBILITIES and Swim Ireland policies and procedures
- Serves as CHAIR to the club’s regular committee and annual general meetings
- Organises COMMITTEE roles and responsibilities through facilitation and delegation
- Oversees an ACTION PLAN for the club
- REPRESENTS the club at local, regional and national events
- Ensures the club fulfils its responsibilities to SAFEGUARD YOUNG PEOPLE at club level
